Job Description

Step into a contract opportunity for a skilled ABA Therapist to provide essential onsite compensatory services in the Boston, MA area. This unique assignment presents a chance to work directly with a former student, fulfilling specific services as part of a state-mandated process. The position requires a commitment of 10 hours total, typically structured as 1 hour per week over 8 weeks, but tailored according to the student's needs until the service hours are completed.


Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an ABA Therapist, preferably in educational environments
  • Expertise implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students and families
  • Ability to adapt to unusual or evolving caseload situations
  • Mastery in maintaining detailed progress documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Valid licensure or certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (where required)
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver compensatory ABA therapy sessions onsite as assigned
  • Develop and implement individualized plans in response to the student's established goals
  • Monitor and record progress meticulously, ensuring legally compliant documentation
  • Liaise with school and district staff as necessary, maintaining professionalism with families under sensitive circumstances
  • Adjust approach as needed in response to ongoing developments within the case

This is a contract assignment with flexible scheduling to complete 10 total hours of service. The caseload is both notable and unique-given the student has moved districts during the PRS process, the role demands both clinical skill and discretion.
