As a CNA/HCA with our company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by assisting them with their daily activities, providing emotional support, and promoting their overall well-being. This is a variable hour position, with opportunities for part time or full-time work depending on performance, client requests and availability.Our goal is to be the best home care provider AND EMPLOYER in Washington State. Our Tacoma office serves all of Pierce County, along with Federal Way, Auburn, Lacey, and the surrounding areas.Responsibilities:Provide direct care and assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming for our clientsAssisting with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and other household tasksAssist with mobility and transfers (e.g. using Hoyer lifts, transferring from bed to chair, etc.)Reminding to take medications as prescribed by the client's physician, following proper procedures and protocolsDocument all client care activities accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare team members to ensure the best quality of care for our clientsUse of agency technology for monitoring time and productivity (app based clocking in and out, task tracking, etc.)Maintain a safe and clean environment for our clients, following infection control and safety protocolsDemonstrate professionalism and ethical behaviors at all times while providing care to our clientsRequirements:Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Washington or the ability to earn one within 200 days of hireHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent CPR certification or ability to earn certificationAbility to pass a criminal background checkKindness and care are the top priorityExcellent communication and reliabilityCompassionate, empathetic, and reliableMust have reliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseEEOC Statement:Generations Home Care is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
