We are currently looking for a Compliance Officer / AML on behalf of our client, a Swiss private bank based in Geneva. Responsibilities Handle AML-related requests and perform related analyses Review daily screening alerts, including adverse news monitoring Monitor and analyse client transactions to identify potential risks Manage changes in client circumstances and ensure proper documentation updates Conduct both formal and substantive reviews of client accounts Respond to requests from counterparties and external stakeholders Organise and participate in periodic client account reviews Act as a key point of contact for Relationship Managers on compliance-related queries Provide support on broader compliance topics (e.g. investments, credit activities) Contribute to ad hoc tasks and compliance-related projects Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Compliance / AML role within a bank in Switzerland Strong knowledge of AML regulations and Swiss regulatory framework (LBA, CDB, FINMA) Experience in transaction monitoring, screening and client account reviews Ability to handle sensitive cases and work with high-risk clients Good understanding of cross-border activities and regulatory requirements Autonomous, rigorous and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Team player with good communication skills, able to interact with front office and stakeholders Fluent in French and English For further information regarding this opportunity, please contact Maeva Reis at +41 22 552 01 05 or via email at m.reis@lextonstanley.com.
