Serves as a volunteer for the City's Summer Day Camp Program. This is a temporary volunteer position, which carries no employee benefits or paid time off. Campers are ages 6 through 13 years of age. Salary: Volunteer position.
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, between 7:15 AM and 6:15 PM (the actual work schedule and specific number of hours worked may vary). Duration of the summer program: June 8, 2026, through July 31, 2026.
Work Locations:
Must be available to work for the entire program at the assigned location. Mandatory orientation for those selected for this position is scheduled for the week of June 1, 2026. Specific locations and times will be announced at a later date.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, run, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distant vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions and may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
