Pay Rate: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 13.00 USD Hourly
Work Shift: 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. (United States of America)
Job Description We're looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our culinary team!
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment for the hospital cafeteria. Sanitize all pots, pans, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner. Support stocking and inventories by shelving and organizing delivered food and items.
Responsibilities Dietary Utility Associate - Wage: $13/hour
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Day/Evening/Night shifts available
- Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
- Location: Paris Regional Medical Center
Responsibilities - Maintain order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dining room, and storeroom
- Put away deliveries, label and date products, and break down boxes
- Stock and monitor towels and soap dispensers throughout the shift
- Clean and return all kitchen equipment and serving ware in a timely manner
- Set up and maintain a 3-compartment sink and dish machine
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and spot clean floors and high-traffic areas
- Monitor and empty trash cans
- Adhere to the facility's health and safety policies and procedures
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
Physical Requirements - Capable of prolonged standing and walking continuously, pushing dish racks, frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
- Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare, dishwasher, housekeeping, janitor, custodian)
