Embroidery Operator

Wage: $17/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Embroidery Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete operation of multi-head embroidery machines
• Complete set-up and completion of different types of embroidery jobs
• Machinery operation and order processing with attention to ticketing, hooping, threading, adjustments of thread and bobbin tensions
• Execution of corrections to avoid expensive loss of product
• Follow specific detailed instructions given by the supervisor and/or manager
• Meet daily physical demands of standing for extending periods of time and moving around facility on foot
• Mobility and lift, pull, and carry objects up to 60 pounds repeatedly during shift
• Accurately operate small components of machinery
• Meet department production expectations
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Participate in additional maintenance and cleaning of the machines and work area

Embroidery Operator Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 1 year of embroidery experience preferred
• Must have good vision and attention to detail to accurately thread very small needles on machines
• Physical ability and stamina for repetitive standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and stacking for the entire shift
• Ability to lift and move up to 60 pounds throughout the shift
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
• High attention to details
• Strong ability to multitask
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to express issues and pose questions
