Save lives and provide crucial care in emergencies.
At Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC), we're more than just a healthcare organization - we're a community dedicated to making a meaningful impact. For more than 60 years, we've been providing compassionate, high-quality care in the Greater Brainerd Lakes Area and beyond. Our team is driven by a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and putting people first - both our patients and our employees. Whether you're on the front lines of patient care or supporting operations behind the scenes, you'll find a culture of collaboration, growth, and respect. If you're looking for a career where your work truly matters, we invite you to join us at CRMC and be part of something bigger.
In this role, you will be at the intersection of healthcare and public safety. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency situations, providing critical medical care in your communities – with time to grab some caffeine during your shift, too! Your work includes collaborative efforts with healthcare teams and significant independent tasks, focusing on patient safety and effective problem-solving during calls for service. You'll need to efficiently manage EMS equipment and resources to safely respond to calls for service at any time. Expect to perform both routine and complex medical and emergency procedures, adapting swiftly to the varied needs of each situation. Regular duties also involve comprehensive documentation and meticulous maintenance of quality control systems.
Working at the intersection of healthcare and public safety, we bring emergency medicine directly into the community—providing advanced care before a patient even reaches the hospital. If you're looking for a career where medicine meets independence, adrenaline meets skill, and no two days are ever the same, CRMC's Ambulance Service is where you belong. Here, you'll work with confidence, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to helping people on their worst days. Whether you're rushing to a critical emergency in someone's home, assisting at the scene of an accident, or simply assessing a patient who has called for an ambulance 23 times this year, you will change lives. While the job can vary from tedious to maximum intensity all in the same shift, it comes with definite perks — like the camaraderie of a strong, supportive team and getting paid to enjoy a coffee with that team between calls. If you're ready to be the calm in the chaos, the expert in uncertainty, and the one who makes a difference in a patient's time of crisis, join us in the Ambulance Service at CRMC.
The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions. Cuyuna Regional Medical Center offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the health, financial security, and overall well-being of our employees. Eligible employees receive medical insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance, health savings accounts, life insurance, and employer contributions to a 401(k) retirement plan. Additional benefits include paid time off, participation in 401(k) and 457(b) plans, educational assistance and reimbursement, an employee assistance program, work-life balance support, gym membership and other discounts, and employee recognition programs.
