Marketing & Events Coordinator

Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western United States, is seeking a full-time Marketing & Events Coordinator to work from the firm's Phoenix, Arizona office.

This individual, reporting to the firm's Phoenix-based Senior Director of Marketing, will support the firm's event and marketing efforts in Phoenix, and may also aid, as needed, for firmwide projects and initiatives.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate and contribute to the planning and execution of meetings, conferences, seminars, and special events helping to ensure seamless logistics and high-quality attendee experience
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives through client engagement activities, and relationship-building opportunities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with event-related research, sponsorships, memberships, ticketing, and vendor relationships to facilitate client development and networking opportunities
  • Collaborate on firm's client relationship management software, Interaction, and firm mailings
  • Contribute positively to team's success and reputation by building and fostering strategic relationships internally and externally
  • Assist in processing and monitoring events and marketing-related expenses
  • Provide on-site event support, including registration, guest coordination, meeting setup, and troubleshooting as needed
  • All other duties and projects as assigned or required

Experience and qualifications:

  • At least two to three years of events/marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or related field is helpful
  • Understanding of legal marketing industry
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills within a variety of settings
  • Ability to work well under pressure within a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to present a professional and polished image and demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, social media platforms, and CRM management is needed
  • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
  • Ability to travel, as required
