Job Description

General Manager

Onvo is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our restaurant division, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and financial success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and administrative functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize purchasing to maintain healthy profit margins.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues efficiently to maintain high service standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to promote menu offerings and drive customer engagement.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance to senior management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in restaurant management, with at least 3 years in a General Manager role.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales, managing budgets, and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including P&L management, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
