Position Details Job Number: 32200 Salary: Up to $65K DOE Industry: Legal Requirements 3-5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in both business transactions and litigation Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems Proficiency in e‑filing in Oregon and Washington courts Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred Key Responsibilities With e‑filing expertise and strong multitasking skills, you may be a great fit for this Legal Assistant role with a highly regarded boutique Portland law firm. In this position, you’ll work closely with another skilled Legal Assistant supporting two partners who specialize in foreclosure and bankruptcy law, and real property and land use matters. Your primary responsibilities will be e‑filing in Oregon and Washington courts, formatting briefs, client correspondence, opening new files, running conflicts checks, and preparing Tables of Authority and Tables of Contents. You’ll also do some work in bankruptcy and federal courts, so you’ll need to be proficient in reviewing and applying court rules. Excellent communication skills will be key as you coordinate between courts, agency personnel, clients, attorneys, and opposing counsel. Self‑sufficiency, attention to detail, and great teamwork will take you far on this team. You’ll have the choice of either a full‑time or part‑time schedule, with benefits if you work at least 30 hours per week. This is an in‑office position.
