Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Motor Assisted Vehicle Operator (MAVO Driver) to join our team. In this role, you will safely transport patients to and from medical appointments while providing attentive, patient-centered care. You will play a key role in ensuring passengers feel comfortable, supported, and safe throughout their journey.

The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, demonstrates professionalism, and is willing to assist both patients and fellow drivers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and safely transport patients to and from medical appointments
• Provide courteous, patient-focused assistance during transport
• Assist patients with entering and exiting the vehicle, including lifting support when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to assist with patient handling when needed
• Plan efficient and safe travel routes
• Adhere to assigned schedules and appointment times
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and basic preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, schedules, and any incidents
• Follow all company policies and applicable driving laws

Qualifications

• Previous professional driving experience preferred
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• MAVO Certification (required)
• CPR Certification (required)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
• Ability to assist with lifting and mobility support

Training & Certification Support
Candidates who do not currently hold MAVO or CPR certification may be eligible for our paid training program . The cost of certification will be reimbursed through payroll deductions from the first two paychecks.

Compensation

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
