Job Overview Fairview is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Behavioral Health team in a 0.50 FTE outpatient role based in Minneapolis. This physician will provide outpatient addiction medicine care and consultative services to patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions within our Recovery Services and Addiction Medicine Clinics. Position Highlights FTE: 0.50 FTE outpatient role Schedule: Monday–Friday, day hours Collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment Opportunity to support program growth and quality initiatives Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical evaluation and management of patients with substance use disorders Deliver care for patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions Collaborate with psychiatry, hospital medicine, nursing, social work, and case management teams Communicate effectively with referring providers and outpatient partners to ensure continuity of care Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and discharge planning Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in alignment with quality and compliance standards Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within Addiction Medicine Qualifications Graduate of an accredited ACGME or AOA Family Medicine residency program Completion of Addiction Medicine fellowship training Board Certified or Board Eligible through the ABMS Licensed or eligible for licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification in the state of Minnesota Meets credentialing and privileging criteria Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, CME, tuition reimbursement, retirement, and more! The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
