Meat Processing Worker - $16.50/hr | Full-Time | Day Shift (7 AM - 4 PM)

Location: Muskegon, MI

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Pay: $16.50 per hour

We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our food production and meat processing team. As a Meat Processing Worker , you'll play a key role in preparing, trimming, packaging, and labeling high-quality meat products in a clean and safe production facility. If you have experience in meat cutting , food handling , or manufacturing , or if you're looking to get started in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate meat processing equipment such as saws, grinders, and slicers safely
• Package, weigh, and label meat products according to company and food safety standards
• Maintain clean workstations and follow proper sanitation procedures
• Follow all workplace safety and food safety regulations, including PPE usage
• Inspect meat products for quality, weight accuracy, and appearance
• Support daily production targets by working efficiently as part of a team
• Lift and carry boxes or meat products (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods

Qualifications:

• Experience in meat processing , butchery , food production , or manufacturing is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to work in refrigerated environments and handle raw meat
• Physically able to lift, bend, and work on your feet for 8+ hours
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company
