Job Description
A school district in the Spanaway area is seeking Registered Nurses to provide school-based nursing support for the 2026–2027 school year.
School Nurse Position Details:
Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
K–12 school-based assignments
Health room/school nurse role
School Nurse Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and support to students
Manage health room needs and respond to student health concerns
Provide 1:1 nursing support if a child's nurse is out
Administer medications and treatments as needed
Develop and follow student health plans
Communicate with families, staff, and healthcare providers
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
School Nurse Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
Active Washington RN license
ESA Certification required
School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Comfortable supporting students across K–12
