Position Overview
A well-established public accounting environment is seeking a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to support a growing client base across tax preparation, planning, and advisory services. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys working directly with clients and contributing to a collaborative, relationship-driven team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Provide proactive tax planning and compliance support to clients
- Assist with financial statement preparation and related reporting
- Research tax issues and apply current regulations to client situations
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax strategies and filings
- Collaborate with internal team members to meet deadlines during peak cycles
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred
- Strong experience with business and individual tax returns
- Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Experience with tax software platforms commonly used in public accounting environments
