Shipping Material Handler- 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Shipping Material Handler- 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.71/hour + $1.20/hour shift differential per hour. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What You'll Do:

• Responsible for picking orders, staging, loading and/or unloading material from trucks and/or other departments in order to keep flow of product smooth and efficient.
• Move material in a safe manner and dispose of scrap.
• Operate forklifts.
• Store, space and deliver materials or products.
• Stack pallets and arrange materials.
• You may be required to palletize and secure material as needed.
• Use of power truck and other powered material handling equipment (ex. walking crane or hoist).
• Perform 5S & Continuous Improvement activities.
• May utilize the spotter truck to move flatbed and dry van trailers around the yard and in and out of the dock doors, as needed or required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Valid Driver's License
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered.

• Strong product knowledge.
• Forklift experience both stand up and sit down.

Position Criteria:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33-66%) and up to 75 lbs. occasionally by stooping, reaching, bending
• Ability to follow directions, work independently and close attention to detail
• Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product
• Ability to reach, grasp and manipulate
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks
