Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our prestigious CPA firm. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client tax engagements, ensuring compliance, and providing expert advice to clients on tax-related matters. This position requires a strong understanding of tax regulations and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities - Manage and oversee tax compliance and reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, ensuring they adhere to relevant tax laws
- Review and approve tax returns and related documents before submission
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and guidance as needed
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Active CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or a similar role
- Proficiency in tax software, preferably CCH
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
