We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to assist clients with tax preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, be comfortable answering phones, following up with clients, and maintaining detailed records. Previous Enrolled Agent experience is a plus. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Prepare individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently Stay up to date on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service Follow up with clients regarding documentation, filings, and any outstanding information Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information Assist with general administrative tasks as needed Work independently and manage workload efficiently Skills & Qualifications: Prior tax preparation experience required Enrolled Agent (EA) experience is a plus Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and meet deadlines Comfortable answering phones and following up with clients Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours based on business needs Flexible scheduling options (full-time or part-time) Opportunity to work in a professional and supportive environment Competitive pay based on experience Growth potential within the company Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer and make hiring decisions based on merit.
