Job Description

Tradeshow and Events Manager

The Trade Show and Events Manager will design, support, and execute various event activities provided by ASUG's to its customers and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and executes comprehensive project plans and timelines for trade shows and year-round partner entitlements.
  • Lead end-to-end logistical management of partner deliverables and engagement programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish strategic event plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Develops and executes event functions to achieve stated objectives regarding revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Analyze events and adjust strategies and tactics to increase effectiveness.
  • Leads internal project meetings and provides regular status updates to all related departments.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel nationally to ASUG events approximately 3–5 times per year, plus additional planning meetings as needed.
  • Ability to work nontraditional hours during events and peak planning periods.
  • Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in events, trade shows, exhibits, sponsorships, or related areas.

Computer Skills:

Candidates must possess a strong foundation in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel) as well as the ability to utilize and adapt to new technology and process. Experience in Cvent and Expocad a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $74,000–$85,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and overall alignment with the responsibilities of the role.
