In the role of Planner 2, we’ll count on you to: Independently collect, assimilate and manage land use planning, urban design and landscape design project-related data Prepare constraints mapping and required documents Assist in preparation and participation of public information meetings and hearings Prepare conceptual and schematic designs for residential and mixed‑use buildings of all types Prepare detailed urban designs for public spaces of all types Prepare high‑quality illustrations for master plans and specific plans Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field A minimum of 5 years experience in planning and design Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs Extensive graphics and report document production experience Experience with GIS Strong oral and written communication skills Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment May require the ability to travel An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must At HDR, we are committed to the principles of employment equity.
