About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Media Agency Operations to join their executive team. The successful candidate will be a proactive, decisive, and inspirational leader with a strong desire to drive the company's media agency to be the best in class. Key responsibilities include organizational and departmental leadership, with a focus on strategic planning, new business development, and ensuring the performance of client account management and production divisions. The role demands a leader who can provide high-level strategic guidance, maintain a comprehensive understanding of client business models, and take ownership of the results produced by their teams. The Vice President will also be responsible for people management, including mentoring and training Account Executives, and will be expected to have a hands-on approach to expanding the business and nurturing vendor relationships. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and at least 10 years of relevant work experience in a leadership role within the media industry. Expert knowledge in the business area, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders are essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in team management, the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must, and a friendly, high-energy, team-focused, and can-do attitude is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the media industry, proactive in identifying and implementing growth strategies, and dedicated to ensuring client satisfaction and the success of the agency.
