Job Description

We’re partnering with a creative in-house advertising agency, to find a skilled Video Editor and Animator to support a creative team. This temp role is based in Westwood, MA, with hybrid—on-site Mon–Thu. Candidates should have a strong eye for detail, storytelling, and design, capable of taking projects through all post-production phases.

Video Editor and Animator Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality video content for digital, social, and broadcast platforms, including promotional videos, explainers, ads, interviews, and reels.
  • Design and animate motion graphics specifically for digital signage applications, retail displays, and experiential environments.
  • Create compelling typography, transitions, lower thirds, and visual effects for large-format or high-resolution screens.
  • Adapt and version content across various formats, aspect ratios, and screen types.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to realize visual concepts and produce storyboards, rough cuts, and final animations.

Video Editor and Animator Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in video editing and motion design, with a focus on digital signage or screen-based content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft engaging stories with strong visual pacing and animation flow.
  • Experience designing for a range of resolutions and playback environments, including LED walls and high-resolution screens.
  • Knowledge of audio editing, sound design, and experience working with creative teams and collaboration tools.
