Starting at $19-$23/hour, our Warehouse Order Selector position is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a path to a CDL license, or a career with proven advancement! We w ill provide on-the-job training!

Schedule: Full-time, Sunday evening - Thursday, off on Friday and Saturday nights!

Dennis Food Service, a 100% Employee-Owned company, is experiencing growth and is on the hunt for dynamic individuals to become valued members of our team! We're specifically seeking energetic warehouse order selectors who can skillfully operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack/forklift) to accurately choose products and assemble pallets for timely delivery to our customers. As an order selector, punctuality and a strong work ethic are crucial. We value dependability, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring the quality of orders. This role involves working from 5:30 PM until all products are selected and loaded, with overtime and holiday shifts required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack/forklift) safely
• Locate products in the warehouse using devices with enhanced technology
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc., ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks
• Carefully wrap orders before loading them on trucks
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as an order selector or other warehouse position
• Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Able to read and write in English
• Great attention to detail
• Diligent, dependable, and punctual
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour (based on performance benchmarks)

Shift: Evenings/Overnights, Sunday - Thursday. Opportunities for growth and advancement to other shifts and positions within the company.
