Job Description

1. VCI / Conference Room Deployment Management

• This team partners closely with the business whenever there is a request for a new conference room or collaboration space. Responsibilities include scoping requirements, procuring equipment, and installing AV and collaboration solutions.
• Workload varies significantly, ranging from large-scale initiatives involving 400+ rooms to small, single-room deployments.
• The role is highly execution-focused, with accountability for delivery, consistency, and adherence to established deployment standards.

2. Engineering and Implementation Support

• Following the recent departure of an engineer, the team has received approval to backfill the position.
• We are seeking a candidate who combines strong engineering expertise with hands-on implementation experience.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting active and upcoming deployments
• Cleaning up, stabilizing, and optimizing existing implementations
• Providing engineering-level guidance, troubleshooting, and technical support as needed

Role Profile Considerations

• While the official title is Audio Visual Engineer , the role encompasses both:
• Direct, hands-on implementation work
• Engineering oversight and technical leadership
• Strong implementation skills are essential. Candidates with prior experience at AV integrator firms often excel due to their practical deployment background.
• This is not a purely conceptual or design-focused engineering role.

Talent Market Reality

• The primary challenge will be identifying candidates with genuine AV expertise.
• This role is not well-suited for general network engineers without hands-on AV experience, although networking knowledge is considered an added advantage rather than a disqualifier.
