Job Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, organized, and reliable Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Clerk to support our finance and operations team. This remote role is ideal for candidates who excel in maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices, and ensuring timely payments. You will work closely with accounting leadership to keep financial data up‑to‑date and support daily bookkeeping functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices and verify accuracy
• Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
• Reconcile accounts and update financial ledgers
• Assist with monthly closing tasks and reporting
• Track expenses, receipts, and digital documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions or discrepancies
• Support general bookkeeping tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Must be located within the United States
• Experience in bookkeeping, AP, or general accounting support
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Reliable internet connection and personal computer

• Understanding of basic accounting principles
