Performance Foodservice, a leading national food distributor delivering over 150,000 food and food-related products to customers across the United States, is seeking a safety-focused CDL A Delivery Driver for our night shift in {JOB-CITY}, {JOB-STATE}. As part of our Transportation & Logistics team within the Food & Beverage Operations industry, you will play a key role in ensuring that restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, and other foodservice customers receive accurate, on-time deliveries each night. In this position, you will operate late-model tractors and refrigerated trailers, safely transporting products from our distribution center to customer locations on a designated route. You will load and unload cases using a hand truck and/or pallet jack, frequently handling product down ramps, into coolers, and through tight spaces while maintaining a high level of customer service at each stop. You will verify orders against invoices, obtain customer signatures, handle returns and discrepancies, and complete all required delivery documentation and electronic logs in compliance with DOT and company standards. Working primarily overnight, you must be comfortable with night driving, variable weather conditions, and tight delivery windows while maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures and traffic laws. You will collaborate closely with dispatch, route planners, and warehouse staff in a team-oriented culture that values innovation, communication, and service. The role requires strong time management skills to complete multi-stop routes efficiently, attention to detail to ensure product accuracy and load security, and physical stamina to lift, push, and pull cases throughout the shift.
