Front Desk Attendant We are in search of a Front Desk Attendant that will play a key role in the success of this hotel. If you are experienced, innovative, tenacious, and ready to make your mark we want to hear from you. This position reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for the following: Greeting & checking in guests. Handling guest requests. Answering internal/external calls. Taking reservations over the phone. Running shift reports & balancing cash drawers. Properly executing daily closing reports. Assisting other departments with guest needs including communicating issues to department supervisor. Special Requirements: Prompt and regular attendance - the hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and associates may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work, and overtime as required. Minimum availability of 16 hours per week for part-time employees. Comply with hotel and/or department uniform and professional behavior and appearance standards. Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team player with all levels of staff. Review and approve electronic timecards weekly for accuracy.
