BJC is hiring for an Inpatient II Coder. We are looking for 2 years of Inpatient Hospital Coding experience. Must have one of the following certifications: CCS, RHIA, or RHIT. This is a remote position. Eligible remote states include Alabama, Kentucky, Oklahoma; Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina; Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee; Georgia, Louisiana, Texas; Indiana, North Carolina, Wisconsin; Iowa, Ohio.

Role Purpose
The Inpatient Coder II assigns diagnosis and procedure codes for inpatient encounters, while adhering to all regulatory guidelines. This position demonstrates knowledge of complex medical and coding concepts.
