At a Glance:

  • Position: Machine Operator, 3rd Shift
  • Pay: Competitive wage ranged between $25.16/hour - $27.96/hour (this wage does not include the shift differential of an additional $1.50 per hour worked for 3rd shift)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2nd shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

About the Role :  We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. You will operate grinding machinery to produce precision cutting tools, ensuring machines run efficiently and meet quality standards. You will work alongside Machine Operators and Set-Up Technicians and report directly to the Shift Facilitator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinding machinery used in the production of precision cutting tools.
  • Load and unload stock and parts from machines according to production schedules.
  • Make minor adjustments to machine controls to maintain quality and tolerances.
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers, rulers, and scopes to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Accurately complete paperwork for maintaining proper documentation of operations.
  • Communicate machine and quality status to Setups and Leads.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and training opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

Education: High school diploma or GED .

Skills:

  • A bility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work full-time with reliable attendance.
  • Willingness to train and participate in ongoing improvement initiatives .
