Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Material Handler - 2nd Shift at our Highland, IL location! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $23.62 per hour, and a $0.50 shift differential.

What You'll Do:

In this function, you will:

  • Safely operate rigging equipment including nylon straps, wired-braided straps, chain slings, sheet stock handlers, rail rack attachments, and spreader bars to move and secure materials.
  • Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and combi lifts to transport materials and support production operations.
  • Utilize fall protection equipment, including body harnesses and lanyards, in accordance with safety procedures.
Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.

Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks (i.e. fork trucks, cranes, combi-lifts).

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior Manufacturing experience.

Prior overhead crane operating experience.

Position Success Criteria:

Availability to work overtime as required.
