Line Cook

Location: Artesia, CA

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

About Us:

Honest Restaurant is a fast-growing, authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant known for fresh ingredients, teamwork, and consistency. We’re looking for a dependable Line Cook who takes pride in maintaining high standards in both food and kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to provided recipes and standards
• Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Set up and stock stations before service
• Ensure kitchen and prep areas remain clean and organized
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
• Assist in inventory management and minimize food waste

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
• Knowledge of Indian cuisine is a plus (but not required — training provided)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
• Punctual, reliable, and a team player
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Schedule:

Flexible — weekends and evenings required
