Part-Time Litigation Legal Assistant (Temporary Project) Location: Downtown Chicago Schedule: Onsite, 5 days/week Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 annually (part-time, annualized; conversion to full-time eligible) We are seeking a Part-Time Litigation Legal Assistant for a temporary project with a strong opportunity to convert to full-time. This role is fully onsite in a downtown Chicago law firm environment and requires hands‑on litigation support experience. Responsibilities Prepare, file, and manage state and federal court filings Handle electronic filing through Odyssey (state courts) and PACER/CM-ECF (federal courts) Assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, and court correspondence Monitor filing deadlines, docket activity, and court notices Coordinate service of process and maintain case files Provide general litigation administrative support to attorneys Qualifications Prior experience as a litigation legal assistant or legal secretary Required: State and federal e‑filing experience, including Odyssey and PACER/CM-ECF Strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work onsite five days per week in downtown Chicago Additional Information Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
