About This Role We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to provide clerical support for our patients. If you are passionate about providing exemplary care while being sensitive to their individual psychiatric conditions, you would be a great fit on our team. What You’ll Do Answer incoming calls in a warm and welcoming manner. Complete intake calls and schedule intake appointments. Reach out to families to schedule family therapy appointments and outpatient psychiatrist appointments. Provide intake for new clients, verifying the accuracy of demographics, insurance, forms, and organizational data to be entered in the chart in a timely manner. Deliver high‑quality remote support via EMR instant messaging, Teams, phone, and email, serving as one of the first responders to any inbound questions or requests from patients. Maintain patient charts according to confidentiality standards and policy, including HIPAA requirements and Compass policy. Utilize the Electronic Medical Record system as needed to verify patient appointments and schedule appointments for clinicians and/or outpatient psychiatrists with patients. Obtain payment methods for program or outpatient appointments, collect payments and issue receipts for outpatient psychiatry and/or therapist appointments rendered. Engage and, if needed, escalated to IT as the first line of troubleshooting for technology issues for Patient Portal Access, Encryption software, and other software necessary for patient care. Perform other related duties as assigned. Who You Are Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 2–3 years of customer service experience. Prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, residential or medical setting preferred. Computer proficiency with the ability to learn and use multiple software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and planning skills; detail oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills. Flexible schedule – able to work an assigned schedule.
